Although Twitter is not happy with Threads' success, the application is killing it. As reports show Threads is already three times bigger compared to any other Twitter-like application. Elon Musk took over Twitter and everything started to go bad for the application, creating a space for others to try Twitter-like apps.
Many tried to create an application that can surpass Twitter but only Threads has managed it. Twitter's other competitors, including Donald Trump's Truth Social, have yet to reach the critical mass that would make them serious contenders in this space. The former US President's app has around 2 million active monthly users, while Bluesky, Mastodon, Parler, and Tribel have a combined total of about 4.5 million.

Threads is on its way to become the fastest growing application of all time with the increase in the number of users. No other app has so many users signed up on the day of its release. Application works really similar to how Twitter works. It is totally text based and users can benefit what they benefited on Twitter.
