Twitter recently has been on the agenda with their huge layoffs and it looks like company does not even plan to settle. Here all details.
Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter, many things started to change. Musk firstly started to do huge layoffs in the company which resulted in advertisers to back off from the platform. Still Musk does not plan to slow down. Elon Musk is now focusing on Twitter's contract employees after laying off 50% of the company's workforce.

The social media platform began reducing its contingent staff on Saturday afternoon, as reported by Platformer's Casey Newton and Axios. Newton estimated the number of affected individuals at approximately 4,400 after a period of uncertainty .It is anticipated that the move will have a significant impact on Twitter's capacity to moderate content and keep its platform operational. Additionally, it appears that Twitter did not notify those who lost their jobs this weekend.
Getting word that a large number of number of Twitter contractors were just laid off this afternoon with no notice, both in the US and abroad. Functions affected appear to include content moderation, real estate, and marketing, among others

These layoffs also results in people boycotting the platform, which in the end is not a good thing, but it looks like Musk is determined to cut down on expanses. According to Newton, one manager posted in the company's Slack, "One of my contractors just got deactivated without notice in the middle of making critical changes to our child safety workflows."
