Security is now one of the most important issues in social media applications. In this context, Signal also announced a new security move on its own platform. Stories will now be secured on the platform ou can now share photos with friends using Signal's own ephemeral feature that looks like Snapchat. The messaging app has released the feature a month after announcing that it was already beta testing the feature and was jumping on the Stories bandwagon.

The new feature in Signal, which is also called "Stories," lets you post photos that, unless you delete them before the timer runs out, can be seen on the app for 24 hours. Stories, according to Signal, are encrypted from beginning to end, and only the people you've chosen to share them with will be able to see them, just like everything else on the app.

These people could be anyone in your contacts who uses the app, anyone you've talked to one-on-one, or anyone whose message request you accepted, even if you didn't add them. You can also make custom stories that will only be shown to a select group of people you choose, like colleagues or people who share your interests.Additionally, you can tell stories to existing groups.Just keep in mind that whatever you post will be visible to everyone in that group, even those with whom you have never had individual chats.
