Reddit was hacked: Here is the aftermath
Reddit, being one of the most important websites online has been hacked and here is the aftermath.
Reddit, which serves as a huge forum where we can find answers to everything you can think of, faces some dangers. An administrator for the website has disclosed that on February 5th, hackers were able to access its servers thanks to the credentials of a Reddit employee being taken in a targeted phishing assault. In order to steal people's login information and second-factor tokens, Reddit employees reportedly began receiving "plausible-sounding prompts" that directed them to a website that closely resembled its intranet gateway in terms of both appearance and performance. One employee did fall for the scam, but they came out right away. This made it possible for the website's security team to respond fast and deny the hackers access.

The representative for Reddit claimed that portions of the website's "internal documentation, code, as well as various internal dashboards and business systems" were accessible to the malicious parties. Contact details for a large number of business contracts, current and former employees, and some marketers were also made public. However, they gave users the reassurance that the security team looking into the situation had not discovered any proof that their passwords or any other private information had been hacked. At least at this stage of the inquiry, the team hasn't discovered any proof that the data stolen from Reddit has been spread online.
