Instagram is offering a new feature for creators
Creators are being informed by Instagram when and why their posts will be "shadowbanned."
Instagram, being one of the most used apps worldwide continues to improve its application by adding new features, one of them being very useful for creators. The most recent update to Instagram aims to make it easier for creators to understand one of the app's most frustrating features. Creators will be able to "understand if their account's content is eligible to be recommended to non-followers" as part of an update to the app's account status feature.

✅ Account Status Update ✅

We're expanding Account Status so professional accounts can understand if their content may be eligible to be recommended to non-followers.
Here’s how to get to it: Profile -> Menu -> Settings -> Account -> Account Status pic.twitter.com/QbxjQF06vR
Anyone with a "professional" Instagram account will be able to see if their posts are currently blocked from recommendations as a result of the change. The notice will be displayed in the "account status feature" of the app. It will provide users with "a selection" of offensive posts and give them the option to edit or delete them or appeal any decision they believe was incorrect.
For the time being, the feature only applies to posts that have been excluded from Explore, Feed, and Reels' recommendations. However, the company claims that it is working on expanding the feature so that creators will be able to determine whether they are prevented from receiving suggestions at the account level, such as through search or "suggested accounts."
