Meta has apologized for an error on Facebook, but that error made it possible for people see who are their stalkers. Company said "We fixed a bug connected with a new application update that caused some Facebook companion solicitations to be sent erroneously," a representative for Meta told The Everyday Monster. " We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we have prevented this from occurring.

The error worked as, if you check someone's profile the friend request would be sent automatically which helped users see who their stalkers are.
