Ever since Elon Musk took over Twitter some interesting things started to happen. First huge layoffs occured and now employees are given two days.
Things have been crazy for Twitter lately. Ever since Elon Musk took over the platform many things started to change and not always in a good way. Following the massive layoffs that cut Twitter's workforce in half and the subsequent firing of engineers who publicly criticized the company's new owner, Twitter may lose even more employees. The Washington Post reports that Elon Musk gave the remaining employees an ultimatum and asked them to commit to using "extremely hardcore" Twitter in the future."

Reports claim that "A passing grade can only be earned through exceptional performance. Ever since huge layoffs happened civil right defenders started to call for boycott for Twitter which resulted in advertisers to leave Twitter. Musk looks like concerned about all the things that's happening for Twitter, he even stated that he will basically sleep at Twitter's headquarter untill things resolve.
Looking from far, looks like things are not going so good for the platform. The Post saw internal data and data compiled by a software developer that showed that Twitter Blue had only about 150,000 users when subscriptions were stopped. That is a small part of the 238 million everyday dynamic clients Twitter said it had in the second quarter of 2022 and would just get $14.4 million in yearly income.
