Elon Musk took his pool seriously and now stepped down as Twitter CEO. He will quit being the CEO but wont sell the company.
After Elon Musk took over Twitter, the company had it hard way. Nothing went really fine and Musk started a pool to ask his followers whether he should quit or not. Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX in addition to Twitter, has announced that he will step down as CEO of Twitter. Following a survey in which 57% of respondents favored Musk's resignation from the social media platform, the decision was made.

Following a poll, Elon Musk announces his resignation as CEO of Twitter. According to the results of the poll, 57% of respondents favored Musk's resignation as CEO of Twitter. Musk said in a tweet that he will quit "as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job" and will concentrate on running the software and servers teams instead.
