Elon Musk is under heavy criticism with statements of ex-Twitter VP.

Bruce Daisley, former Twitter vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa divisions from 2015 to 2020, said on Twitter that Elon Musk ''doesn't know what he's doing" and had "making everyone alarmed". In an episode of The News Agents podcast, the former executive made striking statements.

"Elon thought he was going to come in and solve everything"

In the podcast mentioned above, Daisley said that “Elon thought he was going to come in and solve everything and very quickly he’s going to work out that it’s far more complicated.”

“It’s pretty evident from every public action that he’s taken with this whole acquisition: he doesn’t know what he’s doing,” he added.

Daisley did not stop criticizing and shared thoughts of Musk's plans for monthly charge of "blue tick" verification. He said "Musk began replacing the legitimacy of verified users with "pocket money". “The fact that we have no recourse over that is undemocratic" he added.

Layoffs started while Twitter's revenues are plunging

Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, has started layoffs at the company. Some employees of the company stated that they received e-mail notifications of their dismissal.

Moreover, Musk blamed "activist groups pressuring advertisers" for the massive drop in Twitter's revenue in a tweet. He stated that Twitter has done "everything we could to appease the activists" and that the company has not altered its content moderation strategy.
