"As to work, everything necessary for endorsement is that your supervisor gets a sense of ownership with guaranteeing that you are making a fantastic commitment," Musk wrote in another reminder to Twitter staff. He went on to say that teams should meet in person at least once per month, with weekly meetings being "ideal."
Musk recently give the employees an ultimatom about their job. The employees would either had to commit to Twitter or lose their jobs. After that announcement some employees started to quit. One day after Twitter employees were told they had to agree that they "want to be part of the new Twitter," in which employees will be expected to work "long hours at high intensity," Musk made his most recent remarks regarding remote work.
Musk now seems to be worried that not enough employees are buying into his vision of a Twitter that is "extremely hardcore. "According to Bloomberg, Musk has been pitching his plans to "key employees" and has hired other leaders "to convince employees to stay" at the company.
However, Musk made it clear that he was more than willing to punish managers for remote employees who fail to meet his expectations.
