After long debates Elon Musk finally took over Twitter and many things started to change ever since. Elon Musk claims that new user signups are at an "all-time high" a month after he completed his takeover of Twitter. The billionaire released a slide presentation on Saturday evening outlining his plans for Twitter in addition to the platform's current state.

Elon Musk claims that new user signups for Twitter are at an "all-time high."

According to one of the graphs Musk shared, as of November 16th, Twitter had added more than 2 million new users every day for the previous seven days. He went on to say that daily registrations are up 66% compared to the same seven-day period in 2021. According to Musk, Twitter's user base had reached an all-time high of nearly 8 billion active minutes per day over the previous seven days as of November 15, a 30% increase from the same time last year.He also claimed, citing a graph, that impressions of hate speech have recently decreased.

Even if Musk's data are correct, their meaning is still up for debate. For instance, the graph regarding hate speech only provides a partial picture of the situation at best.First, take note of the fact that the data only covers tweets written in English in the small print.Second, there is evidence to suggest that Twitter has stopped enforcing its hateful conduct policy when it comes to specifically harassing transgender individuals.
