Twitter CEO Elon Musk has announced that Twitter will launch its 'Verified' service next week. The new verification system will have different colored badges depending on the account type.

Twitter will restart the sale of blue check badges for $8 a month, which it has been suspended for a while. In addition, the company will also offer verified "gold" and "gray" check marks to users. This verifications will depend on the account type, as Musk stated.

Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activates.

Twitter will open suspended accounts from next week
Elon Musk also announced that suspended accounts that have not broken the law or shared too many spam messages will be unlocked starting next week.
In a statement on Twitter, Musk clarified the status of previously suspended accounts.
Stressing that the closed Twitter accounts will be opened from next week, Musk said, "The people have spoken. Amnesty begins next week. Vox Populi, Vox Dei"
