Facebook Dating has now one of the best useful features ever. Company finally added age verification on the platform.
Meta is finally making it possible for users to verify their age, three years after introducing Facebook Dating to the United States. Meta is once again seeking assistance from Yoti, just as it did when it began testing age verification on Instagram in the summer. The website will prompt the user to provide additional information if Facebook's automated systems suspect that a minor is attempting to use Facebook Dating.

Either a video selfie or a copy of a photo ID card can be used to show that a person is old enough to use the service. In the second scenario, Meta will send Yoti a video still "and nothing else." Based on your facial features, the machine learning algorithm of Yoti calculates your age. Yoti will remove the image once the business sends Meta its estimate. There are a few reasons why Yoti's technology is controversial. To begin, it is somewhat of a black box, similar to other neural networks. Yoti has stated that its software does not precisely know which facial characteristics it uses to make judgments. At the moment, Facebook Dating age verification is only available in the United States. Once it has had time to conduct additional testing, Meta claims it will implement the feature in additional nations.
