People use messaging apps to stay in touch these days, so they are vital in a sense, yet 14 messaging apps are banned.
Some messaging apps are banned because of spreading terrorism. The Indian government restricted another cluster of applications today. There were 14 applications on the list, 13 of which were only used for secure messaging and one that could store photos, videos, and conversations.

This time, the authority justification behind the boycott is the applications were generally utilized in the Jammu and Kashmir association region for spreading fear and misleading publicity. In accordance with India's IT law, Section 69A, the apps were banned. According to a government spokesperson, terrorists and Overground workers—individuals who provide logistics, cash, or shelter to militants—used the aforementioned apps to communicate with one another. The Indian agencies discovered that the mobile applications do not have representatives in India, making it difficult to track app-related activities.
The apps can still be found on Google Play Store and App Store yet problems are nowhere near done. How long they will be banned and how the applications security specs will change is uncertain for now.
