Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 features continue to leak
The features of the Galaxy Watch 6 series, eagerly awaited by smartwatch enthusiasts, keep getting leaked.
The highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26 is set to introduce the new Galaxy Watch 6 series among its new product launches. The Galaxy Watch 6 series is likely to feature two different models, the Watch 6 and the Watch 6 Classic. A recent leak posted on Twitter has spilled the beans on the key specifications for the Watch 6 model, which is rumored to be available in two sizes.
According to the leak, the Galaxy Watch 6 is predicted to be available in sizes of 40mm and 44mm. The smaller, 40mm model is expected to feature a 1.31-inch Super AMOLED sapphire display, while the 44mm variant will sport a slightly larger 1.47-inch display of the same type.
Both the 40mm and 44mm models of the Galaxy Watch 6 will reportedly come equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Each version is also said to support Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and LE connectivity via e-SIM. The batteries are different between the two sizes, with the 40mm model packing a 300mAh battery and the 44mm variant housing a 425mAh battery.

The connectivity options for the Galaxy Watch 6 will vary as well. Both the 40mm and 44mm models are anticipated to have Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + LTE versions. The leak didn't specify, but other reports suggest that the Galaxy Watch 6 will be powered by the Exynos W930 chip.
The Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are slated to have a key difference in their design, with the Classic model featuring a rotating bezel. This is a return to the physical rotating bezel feature for Samsung, which was noticeably absent from the Galaxy Watch 5 series. The last time this feature was included was with the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The Classic model of the Galaxy Watch 6 is expected to be available in 43mm and 44mm versions, each with Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + cellular options.
