The Chinese tech giant Oppo's newly developed smartwatch, Oppo Watch 5 Pro, has clarified all its features.
Following the release of the Oppo Watch 3 series last year, Oppo has been diligently crafting its successor. Recent reports suggest the Oppo 5 series is set to debut soon, launching alongside devices such as the Oppo Find N3, N3 Flip, and Pad Air 2. Excitingly, fresh reports have unveiled some expected specifications and features of the Oppo Watch 5 Pro.
According to insights from a well-regarded source on Weibo, the imminent Oppo Watch 5 Pro is slated to house a 4 nm low-power dual platform ARM SoC.
Oppo Watch 5 Pro's features become clear
This chip is believed to be the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1. The watch is anticipated to showcase an LTPO AMOLED display complemented by a sleek curved glass finish. Alongside this, it is likely to come equipped with a 570 mAh battery and provisions for LTE connectivity via an eSIM.
The smartwatch will also offer a comprehensive suite of health and utility features. Among these are a heart rate monitor, an SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen tracking, GPS for precise location services, and NFC capabilities for streamlined transactions. A notable highlight of the watch is the integration of Wear OS, Google's proprietary operating system for smartwatches. This integration not only widens its app ecosystem but also brings onboard the Google Assistant, amplifying user convenience.
