The Watch GT 4, developed by Chinese tech giant Huawei and released recently, receives a significant update.
Last month, Huawei launched its Watch GT 4 in the global market, starting with the EU and the UK. This wearable, which builds on its predecessor's capabilities, is available in various sizes and strap combinations. Notably, Huawei has packed the smartwatch with an array of health tracking features. Now, with the recent October update, they've enhanced some of these features, particularly the sleep and SpO2 monitoring functions.
The Watch GT 4 is currently receiving an update, identified as HarmonyOS version 4.0.0.109. This update, which has a download size of 47 megabytes, aims to refine the accuracy of both sleep monitoring and SpO2 measurements. It's expected that this update will soon be available in more regions.

Before moving forward with the update, it's essential to ensure that users have the most recent version of the Huawei Health app. During the update process, it's also crucial to maintain an active Bluetooth connection between the smartphone and the watch. After downloading, the update will automatically install, and the watch will undergo a restart.
Regarding its specifications, the Huawei Watch GT 4 is available in both 46mm and 41mm dials. The device boasts an AMOLED screen, delivering a resolution of 466×466 pixels and a pixel density of 326 PPI. Users can choose from over 25,000 watch face designs. Additionally, the wearable features dual-band GNSS, enhancing location tracking accuracy and providing advanced health and fitness tracking functions. Battery longevity varies between the models; the 46mm variant promises a remarkable 14-day battery life, whereas the 41mm model offers up to 7 days.
