In an exciting new development, Kamila Wojciechowska has shared a promo video of the upcoming smartwatch, shedding light on the fact that it will come equipped with an array of enhanced features compared to last year's model.
Reportedly, the Pixel Watch 2 will feature Fitbit's multi-path heart-rate sensor, ensuring precise and robust heart rate monitoring, even during strenuous physical activities. The promo video also unveils the inclusion of a skin temperature sensor, as well as cEDA (electrodermal activity) monitoring. Additionally, the wearable device is set to leverage Fitbit's stress management system, detecting and addressing stress levels in the user's body, prompting them to log their mood and providing helpful suggestions. Furthermore, it will have the capability to track pace effectively.
As previously reported, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will be equipped with enhanced safety features. The promo video reaffirms the presence of the Safety Check feature, which will initiate attempts to verify the user's well-being. If there's no response, the smartwatch will automatically notify the user's emergency contacts of their location. Another safety measure, Emergency Sharing, will swiftly share the user's location with trusted contacts. Notably, the Pixel Watch 2 is expected to offer a commendable 24 hours of battery life even with the Always-On Display (AOD) enabled.
In terms of aesthetics and versatility, the promo video hints at the availability of the Pixel Watch 2 in various styles, including metal slim and active sport bands, offering users a choice that aligns with their personal preferences. As the event draws nearer, anticipation is building for Google's unveiling of these cutting-edge devices.
