Garmin has unveiled its latest addition to the lineup, the vivoactive 5. This sleek smartwatch boasts a lightweight design, featuring an anodized aluminum bezel, and continues Garmin's tradition of top-tier activity tracking. The vivoactive 5 comes equipped with a 1.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen boasting a resolution of 390 x 390 pixels, safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Impressively, it weighs a mere 23 grams and offers 5 ATM waterproofing.

Sleep tracking is enhanced with personalized insights, and the watch even tracks naps. With support for over 30 sport-tracking apps and onboard GPS, the vivoactive 5 keeps tabs on your exercise routines, offers post-workout recovery time suggestions, and even includes guided meditation sessions.
Garmin introduces a "body battery" feature, providing insight into your energy levels, factoring in stress, exercise workload, and recovery data. Notably, there's an NFC receiver enabling Garmin Pay, and the watch is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
Storage-wise, you'll find 4GB of onboard memory, perfect for storing your favorite tunes from Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer. The watch excels in managing notifications, allowing message typing on the screen when paired with an Android device. Moreover, you can expand its functionality by downloading additional watch faces and apps from the Garmin Connect IQ Store.
