Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition goes on sale
South Korean tech giant Samsung keeps adding new variants to its flagship smartwatch series, the Galaxy Watch 6.
Samsung continues to innovate its Galaxy Watch 6 series by introducing the Classic Astro Edition, a limited-edition variant. While maintaining the same hardware specifications as the Galaxy Watch6 Classic, this new edition sets itself apart with exclusive dials. This addition closely follows the recent launch of the Golf Edition in the series.
Drawing inspiration from the astrolabe, a historic tool for calculating the position of celestial bodies, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Astro Edition demonstrates Samsung's dedication to blending technology with history. Despite Samsung's prolific releases, such as the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and others in the Watch 6 series, it's worth noting that this specific Astro Edition has a cultural significance.

Designed to honor the Middle East and North Africa's contributions to Astronomy and Mathematics, it's embedded with features such as a compass, sun and moon position tracking, as well as tools to note sunrise and sunset times. A subtle touch of elegance is added with the second hand shaped like a crescent moon.
Further enriching the Classic Astro Edition are its accompanying accessories like fabric straps. However, its availability remains exclusive to the Middle East and North Africa. Those interested can expect a price tag of around $544 for this edition.
