Apple's new Watch Series 9 will come with different chipset than other series. Here are all the details.
These are exciting times for Apple. The company has been stepping up their game with new iPhone 15 series and all. In the meantime other devices are on the way too, including Apple Watch Series 9.
Apple Watch Series 9 to be powered with new chips
Apple Watch Series 8 was launched last year using the S8 chip. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg says, the Watch Series 9, which is expected in a few months, will have a new processor instead of a rebranded version of the previous chip
Additionally, Gurman believes that the A15 SoC that powers the iPhone 13 series would serve as the foundation for this new chip. Apple is supposed to present watchOS 10 at WWDC23, occurring between June 5-9, and it is not yet clear if the Cupertino-based tech giant will uncover anything about the Watch Series 9's chip at its engineers' meeting. Smartwatch market is quite intense and the rivalry is real. Apple has strong rivals such as Huawei when it comes to smartwatches but we will see how the company will improve with new series.
