Enthusiasts of smartwatches are eagerly anticipating the new Galaxy S6 series, which appears poised to debut soon.
In the latest series of revelations, insider Snoopy Tech has unveiled the potential specifications for the much-anticipated Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. It is worth noting that both smartwatches are expected to be introduced alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series on July 26.
The Galaxy Watch 6, available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, is expected to feature AMOLED displays. The 40mm model would reportedly offer a resolution of 432 x 432 pixels, while the larger 44mm variant boasts 480 x 480 pixels. The watches would be powered by a 300mAh and 425mAh battery, respectively, and are rumored to come in Graphite Grey, Gold, and Silver colors.
Similarly, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is predicted to come in two sizes: 47mm and 43mm. Both models could sport AMOLED displays, with the 47mm model possibly featuring a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels and the 43mm variant, 432 x 432 pixels. Notably, these Classic models could be embellished with a physical rotating bezel made of stainless steel and available in either Black or Silver.

Both the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are expected to be powered by the Exynos W930, supported by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Additionally, both watches may feature sensors such as an accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer, gyroscope, temperature gauge, and compass.
The Watch 6 series should offer common features like Wear OS, Wi-Fi, optional 4G, NFC, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.3. Health-related features could encompass a pedometer, heart rate monitor, calorie counter, ECG, SpO2 tracking, and sleep tracking.
Lastly, these watches might be equipped with sapphire glass protected displays and an aluminium chassis, sporting IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certifications for water and dust resistance, as well as a 5ATM rating, making them suitable for swimming and water-based activities.
