Working four day a week has been tested and results are spectacular
In modern days people work 5 or even 6 days in a week which can cause more depression and anxiety, and there can be a solution.
Working only four days a week has been a concept that was on agenda, and it looks like it has been tested now. The majority of British businesses who took part in the four-day workweek experiment said they would continue with it after seeing significant decreases in employee turnover and absenteeism while generally maintaining productivity over the course of the six-month trial.
Working four day a week has been tested and results are spectacular
In one of the largest four-day workweek trials to date, 61 British companies with 2,900 employees, including banks, fast-food restaurants, and marketing firms, paid one day off every week to determine if they could accomplish the same amount of work while working fewer hours more efficiently. According to a new report from the study's organizers, more than 90% said they would keep trying the shortened week, while 18 intended to make it permanent.
Britain's Leeds commentator Claire Daniels, chief executive of a 13-employee digital marketing company, said they analyzed their own work before participating in the trial. They found that 20 percent of their workforce is wasted on unnecessary meetings and business trips:
"We quickly realized that it's not until it takes to compress 4 suns". Stating that they have arranged to leave everyone's leaves blank, Daniels emphasized that the turnover has reached 47 percent compared to the previous 6-month period.
