According to the news in The Guardian, 76-year-old Terry Sanderson accuses the famous actor of hitting himself hard while skiing in Utah seven years ago. Saying that he suffered a brain injury and rib fracture as a result of the accident, Sanderson argues that Paltrow left the scene without leaving his contact information. Sanderson's lawyers say Paltrow is responsible for his accident at the entry-level track. Sanderson is seeking $300,000 in damages from Paltrow. Paltrow, who went to the courtroom with her bodyguard on the first day of the trial, denies the accusation that she "hit Sanderson while skiing out of control". Paltrow claims that Sanderson was at fault in the accident, as well as apologized to her at the time of the incident.
