UK is getting ready for WW3: They hired sci-fi writers to understand AI's role in the next war
Britain has been getting ready for the WW3 and they hired sci-fi writers to see the possible future.
The third world war, if it does happen, will most likely involve artificial intelligence. Seeking to capitalize on art and literature and the artist's ability to predict the future, Britain has now hired science fiction writers to figure out what the next WW3 will look like.
Sci-fi writers are hired by the UK to share their visions
For people who have settled and worked in the "real world", the social sciences and literature have always been a futile pursuit. However, the artist's place is actually at the center of society. Artists have predicted the future before from antidepressants to cell phones, therefore the UK is determined to utilize their skills to get ready for the upcoming war.
The authors, Peter Warren Singer and August Cole, have created eight short stories exploring the potential threats. This pattern sounds similiar if you are a fan of Black Mirror. The artists have created mini-episodes with each story focusing on another aspect. Although art is always seen as a means of entertainment, the awareness of its importance and place in society is one of the important points about the subject. In the end, Britain has seen the potential for WW3 and started to get ready for it.
