Turkey was shocked after a huge earthquake happened in Kahramanmaraş and now country has declared level 4 alarm.
Early on Monday, a 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and Syria, leveling buildings, causing tremors that could be felt as far away as Cyprus, Egypt, and Iraq, and killing hundreds of people as they slept. Turkey has declared level 4 alarm while earthquakes still continue.

European Union has also offered assistance, stating that it will send rescue teams and prepare additional assistance for Turkey. Commissioner Janez Lenarcic tweeted, "Teams from the Netherlands and Romania are already on their way," with the EU's Emergency Response Coordination Centre overseeing their deployment. Stone blocks that had fallen onto the mezzanine of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in Aleppo were captured on camera and posted online. On Twitter, White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan stated that the United States was closely monitoring the quakes in Turkey and Syria and was "profoundly concerned."
