Laxman Narasimhan, Starbucks' new CEO, said he will work half a day at one of the coffee chain's branches each month. The manager said that he joined the company 6 months ago and learned about Starbucks culture during this time. CEO said "I experienced every aspect of the job with you to learn what it really means to wear the green apron. You accepted me to our branches and taught me how to be a barista. All of this was to help me gain a deeper understanding of what we do, how we do it, and the challenges and opportunities we face.I intend to continue working at branches half a day each month to keep us close to the culture, our customers, the challenges and opportunities."
