South Korean tech giant Samsung and one of the most used social media platform TikTok has announced their collaboration.
TikTok has been one of the most influential social media platforms in history. The app basically changed many things when it comes to social media. Creating short videos with mixing music has been quite popular thanks to TikTok's cathcy feed. Therefore brans started to focus on short format video. Now, the tech giant Samsung and TikTok has something new coming.
Samsung and TikTok announce their collaboration!
StemDrop, a new way to record and mix music on TikTok, has been announced by Samsung and TikTok. The venture is led by Simon Cowell as creative director, and Syco Entertainment and Universal Music Group are also involved. A StemDrop Mixer will enable TikTok users to make it easier for anyone to mix and master songs to their liking. Stems are the components that make up a music track and are broken down into vocals, drums, and bass.In an effort to assist emerging musicians in reaching a larger audience, TikTok's brand-new StepDrop feature will highlight emerging user-generated tracks on a weekly basis. A brand-new song co-written by Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, and Ali Payami will only be available as a StemDrop on TikTok.Users will be able to remix the track and upload their own covers as soon as the track goes live. The launch of TikTok StemDrop is scheduled for October 26.
