Oppenheimer and Barbie have been competing with each other ever since they hit theaters. Barbie has been liked better than Oppenheimer and now even the star of the movie wants to be Ken in Barbie 2. The news might come as a surprise but Barbie's success is also no joke. 

Oppenheimer star wants to be Ken in Barbie 2

Cillian Murphy, star of Christopher Nolan's drama Oppenheimer, has announced that he is open to playing Ken in a possible Barbie 2 movie. Murphy, 47, said he could play another version of Ken in the Barbie sequel. There are many different versions of Ken, played by Barbie and Ryan Gosling in the movie so why not another Ken who is played by Cillian Murphy. For all we know he would look dope.

In a new interview posted on the YouTube channel of popular culture and entertainment site Omelete, founded in 2000 in Brazil, Murphy is asked if he would be interested in playing Ken in a possible Barbie 2. Answering the question in the affirmative, the Irish actor says that if he is sent a script for the project, he will definitely read it." Would I play Ken in Barbie 2? Sure, I play. Let's read the script. Let's talk. I can't wait to watch the movie."
