NASA had a quite busy year during 2022. The space agency has shown so many important points regarding the space.

The defunct 38-year-old NASA satellite has successfully returned to Earth. The Earth Radiation Budget Satellite (ERBS) reentered the atmosphere off the Alaskan coast at 11:04 p.m without any problem.

In 1984, it made its way to the Space Shuttle Challenger. During that mission, crewmate Kathryn Sullivan carried out the first spacewalk by an American woman. The satellite was only supposed to collect ozone data for two years, but it wasn't taken down until 2005, which is more than two decades after it was supposed to.

Scientists were able to gain a better understanding of how the Earth processes solar energy by using the vehicle. In the coming decades, you might not see much ancient equipment fall to Earth. NASA had been quit busy these couple years with investigating unknown parts of the universe. In that sense more updates are likely to come.
