Kevin Conroy, beloved voice of Batman, dies at 66
Kevin Conroy, known for voicing Batman in Warner Bros' long-running cartoon "Batman: The Animated Series", died at the age of 66 due to cancer.
Kevin Conroy, who voiced Batman in the 85-episode "Batman: The Animated Series" broadcast on Fox Kids channel between 1992-1995, died at the age of 66. Warner Bros. reported that Conroy died from cancer.
Featured in various DC universe animated films, including "Batman: Gotham Knight", "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies", "Justice League: Doom", "Batman: The Killing Joke" and "Justice League vs. the Fatal Five", Kevin Conroy's last movie was 2019's "Justice League".
Conroy's voice acting was not limited to Batman. He also brought his talents to series such as "Scooby-Doo", "Masters of the Universe" and other video games of Batman series.
Mark Hamill, who voiced Batman's biggest enemy, Joker, in the same animated series, said in a statement, "Kevin was a wonderful person. He was one of my favorite people on the planet and I loved him like a brother. He truly cared about the people around him, shining with honesty in everything he did."
