Kanye West's Twitter account gets suspended again
Twitter and Kanye West have been having some problems for quite a while now.
After tweeting a picture of the Star of David merged with the swastika, Ye, aka Kanye West, received at least a 12-hour suspension from Twitter. West has been having some problems with his Twitter account recently. CEO Elon Musk first told the rapper in a Twitter conversation that tweeting a picture of him being hosed down on a yacht was fine, but not tweeting an antisemitic image.

Ye then shared a screenshot of his account on Truth Social, the Donald Trump-backed social media platform, indicating that it had been suspended for 12 hours due to a violation of Twitter's Terms of Service. A screenshot of his private conversation with Musk, in which the executive said: "I apologize, but you've gone too far. This is not love." In a series of follow-up tweets, Musk said that he tried to talk to Ye, but the rapper still decided to break Twitter's rule against inciting violence.Ye had already been suspended by Twitter in October for making antisemitic posts in which he claimed he would commit "death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE."
In November, his account, along with those of other controversial figures like Marjorie Taylor Greene and former President Donald Trump, was reinstated. Ye entered into a deal to acquire the "free speech" social media app Parler shortly after he was suspended in October from both Twitter and Instagram."We have to ensure that we have the right to freely express ourselves in a world where conservative opinions are regarded as controversial," Ye stated at the time.However, Parlement made the announcement yesterday that the acquisition will no longer proceed.
