"Just Look Up" becomes real: A recently found asteroid to collide with Earth in February 2046
According to NASA, there is a 1-in-600 possibility that a recently found asteroid the size of a swimming pool will collide with Earth.
Do you remember the movie "Just Look Up"? A movie where a meteorite approaches the earth, but the media covers it up and humanity is helpless against nature. Now this scenario could be happening. There is a possibility that a asteroid discovered by NASA will hit our Earth.
A recently found asteroid coming close to Earth
We've been tracking a new asteroid named 2023 DW that has a very small chance of impacting Earth in 2046. Often when new objects are first discovered, it takes several weeks of data to reduce the uncertainties and adequately predict their orbits years into the future. (1/2) pic.twitter.com/SaLC0AUSdP

NASA's Planetary Defense Coordination Office has discovered a meteorite that is likely to hit Earth in 2046. The probability of the asteroid, called 2023 DW, hitting the planet was determined as 1 in 625.
According to a tweet from NASA, it frequently takes several weeks of data after a new object is found to sufficiently predict its orbit years in the future and minimize uncertainties. "Orbit experts will continue to track asteroid 2023 DW and revise forecasts as new information becomes available."
