Will Trump be unbanned on Twitter? Musk's decision seems to pave the way for Trump's return.

Elon Musk officially acquired Twitter last day, and as soon as he took control of social media platform, he laid off Parag Agrawal, chief executive officer. In addition Musk fired policy chief Vijaya Gadde, general counsel Sean Edgett, chief financial officer Ned Segal, and chief customer officer Sarah Personette. Moreover, Musk began to make fundamental changes on Twitter. However, one of the first questions on Twitter during the Elon Musk era is whether Donald Trump will be unbanned on social media platform.

Donald Trump said 'Twitter is now in sensible hands' Is he coming back to platform?

Former President Donald Trump, Twitter's most famous banned user, praised the platform's new ownership that is under billionaire Elon Musk, who has previously stated that he does not support permanent suspensions.

In a statement on his Twitter account, Musk said, "Twitter will establish a content moderation council with various perspectives. No important content decisions will be made or a banned account will be reinstated or unblocked before this council meets." However, it is anticipated that this decision will pave the way for Donald Trump's return to Twitter.

Donald Trump also made these statements on his Truth Social platform: “I am very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by Radical Left Lunatics and Maniacs that truly hate our country.”

The possibility of returning to the Twitter was not stressed by the former president. Musk has stated that he would lift Trump's permanent suspension, which Twitter imposed following the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol because Twitter executives feared that Trump's tweets could lead to additional violence.
