After the viral video, social media users debated whether the marriage was legal. The Solapur police announced yesterday that they have launched an investigation into the matter following the complaint. A criminal complaint was also filed against the groom. Authorities reported that the women were living with their mothers. According to the statement, the brothers, who started to take their sick mother to the hospital with Awtade's vehicle, became close with the man in the process.
Similar news came from Australia last year. Identical twins Anna and Lucy DeCinque, who wanted to marry the same man, got engaged to Ben Byrnes, whom they had been together since 2011, in June. Anna and Lucy also said they wanted to get pregnant and planned to do it through IVF.
