Famous surfer and filmmaker Larry Haynes, who worked on surf films, recorded his last moments in the water before suffering a fatal heart attack in the US state of Hawaii last week. The video went viral soon online. Haynes, who Stab, a surfing publication, refers to as the pillar of his community on the North Shore of Hawaii's island of Oahu, was 61 years old.

The photographer, who was enjoying stand-up paddleboarding on Laniakea Beach last Thursday, later had a heart attack when he returned to the parking lot where he had left his car. Soon, his friends found footage of Haynes recording his last surfing experience.
Brian Bielmann told KHON2 that he and a group of people close to Haynes watched the video together the next day.
"I went and got the video this morning and took it home right away and went to the computer," Bielmann said.
