Elon Musk uses his power to influence public affairs, urged Americans to vote Republicans in Twitter
On the eve of the midterm elections in the United States, new Twitter owner Elon Musk urged voters to support Republican candidates on Monday.
Musk shared his message to the people that he calls as "independent-minded voters," saying: "Shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties, therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that the presidency is Democratic."
"Hardcore Democrats or Republicans never vote for the other side, so independent voters are the ones who actually decide who's in charge!", he added on Twitter.
Obviously, Elon Musk behaves quite differently from former Twitter executives. Former twitter executives did not participate in public affairs such as US midterms. In addition, Musk recently stated that he intends to unban the former president Donald Trump.
Elon musk is now the second most influential person on Twitter, behind former Democratic President Barack Obama, with nearly 115 million followers.
