Danish TV apologizes for comparing the Morocco World Cup team to monkeys
World Cup 2022 has ended yet left so many rumors behind including Danish TV calling Morocco team "monkeys". Here are the details.
TV 2 Danmark, a Danish public broadcaster, has apologized for a segment on one of its shows that compared the Morocco national team to monkeys for hugging their families. Host Soren Lippert showed an image of a family of monkeys huddled together in the segment of the show "NEWS & Co." that aired earlier this week on TV 2 NEWS. His colleague Christian Hagh Andersen compared this to Moroccan players embracing their mothers during World Cup match celebrations.
