The 75-year-old dentist has participated in the tournament held in Qatar this year, going to the World Cup a total of 11 times. Sbruzzi said that football and learning about different cultures are his biggest passions, going to World Cup tournaments and combining the two. Sbruzzi said she took her own culture with her, adding that she dressed like a woman at every tournament except Qatar. Sbruzzi explained that the dress code in Qatar had prevented him.

Sbruzzi is a member of the group Bloco Vai Quem Quer, which organizes street parties at carnival time in Brazil. A special feature of this group is that men dress up as women and walk the streets.
