Dennis Barnes, who was accepted to 186 schools in the USA and received a scholarship offer of 10.1 million dollars, announced the university he wanted to go to. The genius student was all over the internet receiving many scholarships from many schools. He explained the way to success was planning ahead and knowing what you want.

Barnes, a senior at New Orleans International High School in Louisiana, said in a speech at his school on Friday that he would attend Cornell University. Barnes stated that he wanted to enter the software field after studying computer engineering at Cornell, which is located in the Ivy League, which is formed by 8 prestigious universities in the USA.

The 16-year-old student, who has a grade point average of 4.98 out of 5, will graduate high school two years earlier this year. 

Barnes said he chose Cornell, located in Ithaca, New York, "because it's the best school in engineering in the Ivy League."

Speaking to CNN, one of the leading media outlets in the USA, Barnes said, "I want to get away from New Orleans. I love my city, but I want to go out and gain new experiences and see new things that I have not seen before."
