Japanese newspaper Mainichi Shimbun reported that 250 grams of meat sold for 2,200 yen (about 320 TL). Meat meets the customers with options such as fatty and lean. The news reported that the meat came from animals caught during the hunting season by a hunting club in the region.The machine reportedly sells 10 to 15 packs a week on average, but because the bear shooting season is short, supplies occasionally run out. According to a representative from Soba Goro, bear flesh has a clean flavor and doesn't become tough even when chilled. It tastes great in a variety of recipes, including stew and steak.
