A man got arrested for marrying 15 different women!

Internet is a weird place and we keep seeing weirder news every day. With modern technology and considering the use of technology in daily life, people tend to use online dating even for marrying, but this Indian guy has taken it too far. In India, police have detained a scammer accused of having children, some of whom were married to at least 15 women found on matrimonial sites.

The man, whose name is determined to be Mahesh KB Nayak, is alleged to have often pretended to be an engineer or a doctor, while deceiving unannounced women who caught his attention into marrying him. Police sources say the suspect targeted economically independent single women. It was reported that Nayak has been married to at least 15 women since 2014 and has children with 4 of them.

According to The New Indian Express, Nayak's victims were divorced or widowed women. Upon one woman's complaint, the authorities, who set up a team to find the suspect, caught him in Tumakuru. The problem is this situation hurt the victims both emotionally and financially. Especially marrying in another country is something to be careful about if you plan to do online dating as well.
