Xiaomi to introduce Xiaomi 13T in the Q4 2023
Xiaomi is reportedly not planning to include a Xiaomi 13S model in their upcoming 13 series lineup, but instead, the company will be introducing the Xiaomi 13T later this year.
During the upcoming MWC event, Xiaomi is set to unveil its Xiaomi 13 series, which includes the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Lite. While these phones are currently the company's primary focus, it has been revealed that Xiaomi is also developing other high-end smartphones.
Xiaomi skips 13S this year
Digital Chat Station (DCS), a reliable leaker, has suggested that Xiaomi may not release a 13S series of smartphones this year. In 2022, Xiaomi updated its regular 12 lineup with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and introduced the 12S Ultra with a highly anticipated type 1-inch camera sensor.
Xiaomi 13T will reportedly be a rebranded version of Redmi K60 Extreme Edition/Ultra
However, instead of Xiaomi 13S, Xiaomi will reportedly launch Xiaomi 13T globally in the last quarter of this year as DCS suggests.
There are rumors that one of Xiaomi's upcoming 13T smartphones will be a renamed version of the Redmi K60 Extreme Edition. The Redmi K60 Extreme Edition, also referred to as the Redmi K60 Ultra, is currently only available in China, but it is expected to be launched in Europe and other regions under the name Xiaomi 13T in the future.
