Xiaomi offers MIUI 14 update to its popular device

MIUI 14 was unveiled by Xiaomi earlier this month, and seeding the development version of the software on the Mi 11 and Redmi Note 11T Pro series has just begun. A stable Android 13 update based on MIUI 14 has begun to be rolled out to the flagship Xiaomi 12S series in China just a week after it was introduced.

Users have stated that Xiaomi has begun seeding a stable version of MIUI 14 for the Xiaomi 12 series, which includes the Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro, and Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The new features that Google introduced with Android 13 are included in the update, as are some extras exclusive to Xiaomi. The software has a size of 5.7GB and is rolling out with firmware version 14.0.2.0.TLACNXM.

The update is likely to be released in stages as usual, and it should be available for all units within some time. Since the Xiaomi 12S series is not available outside of China, it should come as no surprise that the software is only being released there.

The global launch of MIUI 14 by Xiaomi has not yet begun. With some additional features and omissions, we anticipate the software's international release in early 2023.

To recall, the MIUI 14 is said to be the lightest MIUI version to date and features a simplified design. It includes an enhanced photon engine and system architecture, both of which are said to speed up the loading time of third-party applications.
