Xiaomi launches new devices worldwide
Chinese technology giant Xiaomi is releasing the Watch 2 Pro, Pad 6, and many more devices globally.
Xiaomi, a name synonymous with technology and innovation, has recently enriched its gadget portfolio in Chile, unveiling an exciting array of products ranging from smartwatches to electric scooters. Not long after the announcement of the Xiaomi 13T, the technology giant has introduced more products to the market, further solidifying its presence in the country.
Among the notable unveilings is the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro. This smartwatch, driven by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset and running on Wear OS, is overlaid by Xiaomi’s MIUI platform and features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi. Apart from providing diverse functionality with support for 150 different sports modes, it is also embedded with a myriad of features like ECG monitoring, heart rate tracking, body temperature monitoring, and sleep tracking. Voice calling and text messaging are also feasible through the watch, albeit with the LTE version. The variant launched in Chile, priced at CLP 279,990 (310$), unfortunately, only supports Bluetooth connectivity.
Transitioning to tablets, the Xiaomi Pad 6 has also made its debut. With an 11-inch WQHD+ resolution screen, a refreshing rate of 144 Hz, and Dolby Vision compatibility, this tablet, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, presents itself as a formidable player in the market. It runs on Android 13 and MIUI Pad 14 and is enhanced with up to four speakers supported by Dolby Atmos. With an 8840 mAh capacity battery and 33W fast charging compatibility, the tablet is priced at CLP 369,990 (410$) for the 6/128GB version, and interestingly, early birds can avail themselves of the original keyboard and the 2nd generation Xiaomi Smart Pen as freebies.

Furthermore, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, the company's new fitness tracker, was introduced with up to 16 days of battery life and rapid charging that refills the battery entirely in just 60 minutes. It supports over 150 sports modes, provides 5 ATM water resistance, and includes an innovative pebble clip mode, allowing users to attach the band to a shoelace for more accurate running activity tracking. It’s tagged at a price of CLP 39,990 (44$).
An alternative for budget-conscious consumers, the Smart Band 8 Active comes with a 1.47-inch LCD screen, offering over 100 watch face choices. It supports 50+ sports modes and offers a 14-day battery life along with 5 ATM water resistance. It is priced at CLP 24,990 (28$).
In the realm of smart home accessories, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S10 was unveiled, promising a powerful suction of up to 4000 Pa, a 3200 mAh battery providing up to 130 minutes of autonomy, and intelligent LDS navigation for precise route tracking, all for CLP 199,990 (220$).
Last on the list is the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Go, with a 450W motor capable of reaching a top speed of 20km/h and a range of 18km. It is offered to the market at a price of CLP 279,990 (310$).
These new additions to Xiaomi’s catalog will be accessible for purchase through the company’s official channels in Chile, establishing a diverse array of options for tech enthusiasts in the country.
