Xiaomi is nearing the completion of its work for the new MIUI version
Xiaomi, a significant name in the smartphone industry, has been working tirelessly on the MIUI 15 version. So, what features can we anticipate in this version?
The development of Xiaomi's MIUI 15 seems to be progressing smoothly, with details about the operating system being revealed through various leaks. Recently, alpha builds of MIUI 15 were found on Xiaomi's server, suggesting that both the Redmi Note 13 and the Xiaomi 14 series will operate on this latest version right from the start. Two new features are expected to make their debut with the MIUI 15, according to a recent report.
Researchers at Xiaomiui have uncovered two promising features likely to be included in MIUI 15. The most significant among these is an upgraded clipboard, enabling users to copy and paste images and files. A feature seen on Samsung devices, it allows for a convenient and quick content sharing between apps. For instance, users can copy an image from a website and paste it directly into a Telegram chat, without needing to open the gallery.

In addition to this, MIUI 15 will reportedly provide a volume boost for Xiaomi phones. A new toggle is expected to be added to the quick settings menu, which will allow users to increase the volume output by up to 200%. This feature aims to enhance the multimedia experience on the phones, and offer a better audio experience, even in noisy environments.
The launch date for MIUI 15 is still under wraps. However, rumors suggest that the custom skin might be introduced in China in December and subsequently reach the global market early in 2024. This timeline mirrors the MIUI 14 launch last year. As mentioned earlier, the Redmi Note 13 and the Xiaomi 14 series are anticipated to be launched with MIUI 15 installed.
