Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has broken the record again. The company has sold 300,000 Redmi K60 phones in 5 minutes.
Redmi, the sub brand of Xiaomi, announced that its first flash sale in China and had a blast. On Weibo, the company said that the first batch of 300,000 Redmi K60 phones sold out in five minutes. It claimed that the Pro variant's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 1220p screen, and wireless charging were well-liked by customers.

There are three phones in the Redmi K60 series: the Redmi K60 Pro has a Sony IMX890 sensor behind the 50-megapixel camera and supports 120W of fast charging, the Redmi K60E is a premium model with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, and the Redmi K60E is a basic flagship model. Since 100 units were purchased per second, the number of devices sold sounds impressive. However, compared to the 330,000 units sold for the previous Redmi K50 series, which only featured two smartphones, this number is below that is a 10% decrease in the principal streak deal.
