Xiaomi's latest offering, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, stands out as a superior model compared to the standard version. Although it has a larger form factor than the Xiaomi 14, it follows the same design aesthetic characterized by a boxy structure and a prominently bulging square camera module at the back. This smartphone has an IP68 rating, which ensures its durability against dust and water. Additionally, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, safeguarding against scratches and unexpected damages.

The device showcases a 6.7-inch OLED 12-bit display that features curved edges and incredibly slim 1mm bezels. This screen has a 2K resolution, a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, and an integrated fingerprint scanner. Notably, it boasts a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, which is unmatched in any other smartphone. Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers providing immersive sound.

Photography on the Xiaomi 14 Pro is enhanced with technology from renowned camera manufacturer, Leica. The smartphone houses a triple-rear camera setup: a 50MP Hunter 900 primary sensor with a 23mm focal length, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 14mm focal length, and a 50MP telephoto camera with a 75mm focal length. The device includes a variable aperture feature, and both the primary and telephoto cameras have OIS support. Impressively, the smartphone can capture images in just 0.8 seconds and can record videos up to 8K resolution. For selfie enthusiasts, a 32MP front camera is available.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It can be availed with up to 16GB RAM and storage options reaching 1TB. Thermal concerns are addressed with a built-in heat dissipation system. The phone is energized by a 4,880mAh battery, compatible with 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and even offers 10W reverse wireless charging capabilities. The device is preloaded with Xiaomi's latest HyperOS, grounded on Android 14, introducing a fresh design and features.

Additional functionalities of the Xiaomi 14 Pro include WiFi-7 support, an X-Axis linear motor, Bluetooth connectivity, a 4-microphone array, and 5G capabilities.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro is priced at CNY 4,999 ($683) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Meanwhile, the 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB configurations are available for CNY 5,499 ($751) and CNY 5,999 (~$819), respectively. Consumers can choose between White, Black, and Green color variants.
