Xiaomi 14 development progresses at full speed
The Xiaomi 14 series, developed by Chinese tech company Xiaomi, will meet its followers soon. So, what features can we expect from this phone?
Xiaomi's next flagship device. The actual launch of Xiaomi 14 is slated for November, and it's confirmed that the device will feature the stable MIUI 15 out of the box.
The above timeline aligns well with the release schedules of both companies. With Apple's iPhone launch in September, October seems an apt month for Qualcomm's new chipset announcement. Xiaomi 14's release in November will pave the way for subsequent smartphone launches from other tech giants such as Vivo, Oppo, ZTE, and more.
Historically, Vivo’s X90 Pro+ was the pioneering smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This was followed by the iQOO 11, 11 Pro, and later the Xiaomi 13 Series. The anticipation now is that Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 might premiere with the Xiaomi 14 series.

Regarding the anticipated features of the Xiaomi 14 Series, it's expected to bring a myriad of enhancements compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13. Reports suggest that the smartphone will incorporate a 50MP 1/1.28-inch primary sensor, which is slightly larger than the previous iteration. Additionally, the phone will likely come with a telephoto lens boasting a 5x optical zoom and an ultrawide angle lens. On the battery side, speculations point towards a 4860 mAh battery complemented by 90W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities. In terms of aesthetics, the new model will feature a revamped design, especially in the camera module arrangement.
