Xiaomi has announced several new products at a launch event in Barcelona ahead of MWC. The company has introduced the Xiaomi 13 lineup, which includes standard, Pro, and Lite models, for the global market. Here are all the details about the latest offerings from the Chinese brand.
Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro specifications and pricing
Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro as the successors to last year's Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro, with significant upgrades over their predecessors. Both devices have the same specifications for the global and Chinese markets.
The smartphones come with AMOLED displays featuring a fingerprint scanner and a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout, with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,900 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG support. The regular model has a 6.36-inch flat screen, while the Pro model has a 6.73-inch curved edge display.
The devices have a square camera module, are IP68-certified water and dust-resistant, and feature a nano-skin technology to make the back panel easier to clean. The smartphones have Leica-branded triple rear cameras, with the Pro model having a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel primary lens paired with 50-megapixel ultra-wide and 50-megapixel telephoto lenses, and the regular model having a 50-megapixel OIS-enabled Sony IMX800 sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto unit.
Both devices have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and are equipped with a VC liquid cooling heat dissipation system. The regular and Pro models have 4,500mAh and 4,820mAh battery units, respectively, with support for 67W and 120W wired charging, and 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The smartphones run on MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS out of the box, with 3 years of Android OS updates and five years of security patches. The devices offer 5G, 4G, WiFi-7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR Blaster, and USB-C port connectivity options. The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro come in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black colours, with the regular model also available in Flora Green.
The prices for the devices vary depending on the configuration, starting at €999 for the 8GB + 256GB option for the regular model, and €1,299 for the 12GB + 256GB variant for the Pro model, with availability dates and pricing varying for different regions.
Xiaomi 13 Lite specifications and pricing
Xiaomi 13 Lite, which comes with a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. The phone has a pill-shaped screen design that houses two front cameras.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor that has a 4nm fabrication process and includes a combination of ARM Cortex-A710 and ARM Cortex-A510 cores, as well as an Adreno 662 graphics unit.
The phone boasts two 32-megapixel front-facing cameras and a triple camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
The device offers up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage, and it is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 67W charging speed. It will run on the MIUI 14 interface based on Android 13 out of the box. It will be priced at €499 for 8GB/128GB option.
